Rumor Patrol!

OK, listen, what would you think of these rumored specs of the DC2?

Quad-Core Intel Core i7, modded to what SEGA calls the SEGA S7.
4 GB of RAM, 1 GB of VRAM, and 256 MB of SRAM.
"HD-GDROM" Drive with backwards compatibility with GD-ROM and Saturn CD.
SEGANET 2.0 with Virtual Console-style thing with games from consoles not on VC, like the entire Atari line of consoles, the 3DO, the Colecovision, Intellivision, Odyssey 2, and of course, arcade, and the entire SEGA line of consoles, plus some other old consoles Nintendo refuses to put on VC, along with Dreamcast 2-only downloadable software.
OK, now is where it gets completely unbelieveable, a 120, 250, or 500 GB Hard Drive for all your gaming needs.
The VMU 2.0 with color screen and 1, 2, 4, or 8 GB of space on it.
I really don't know where people get this stuff, but they must be smoking some serious stuff to believe this.
Really, an "HD-GDROM" Drive, if you didn't notice the original GD-ROM didn't do so well for SEGA, why revive it? The hard drive is way outta line, since it would cost too much, and the ridiculous amount of RAM, again too expensive, plus a modded Core i7, once again, much too expensive, really, don't spread blatant lies around, because if SEGA were to make this, they'd go bankrupt within a month of starting production thanks to the $1,000+ production costs. Wow, what a shame that people would do things like that, but if it was real, sign me up, the thing would be the most amazing console in the universe! Anyway, we can all hope when the DC2 does comes around, SEGA doesn't go down the path of the PS3, right?

TEST!!!

I put together the Saturn and the N64 in my basic torture test and amazingly the N64 won! OK, it isn't really that amazing since the N64 was 64-bit, and the Saturn's just 32-bit. Oh well, scratch one off for the challengers, which means they have 2 points, since I tested the 3DO as well, and it won. SEGA still leads with 5 points.

Sonic the Hedgehog 4 and the "Mystery Console".

Well, we've waited 16 years, but finally SEGA gets enough brains to see we don't want Warehogs or things like that, we just wanted a true sequel to Sonic 3 & Knuckles, a game in the true Genesis style, with only Sonic and just momentum as your help going over loops and corkscrews, no speed pads or teleport pads, just momentum and gravity. THANK THE ALMIGHTY VIDEO GAME GODS, IT FINALLY ARRIVED!!!!! Sonic 4 will be released on XBLA, PSN, WiiWare, and a "Mystery Console", maybe DC2? Just saying, this being released near to E3, where everyone tells the world about new creations, so who knows? DC2 might be a few months away! The Dream Lives On, and now there's hope. Wow, if this is one of the launch games, what else might SEGA have up their sleeves? Shenmue III, Jet Grind Radio 3, Seaman 3, Space Channel 5 Part 3? Who can say? Let's hope and pray that the rumors are true. DC2, here I come!!

PS1 vs. 3DO

I put a torture test on the 3DO and PS1. Guess who won? Yup, 3DO.

AHHHH!!

WHY!!! WHY ARE VIDEO GAMES SO FREAKING BAD NOWADAYS!!! I'M SICK AND TIRED OF IT!!! AHHH!!!!!! Sorry guys, needed to get that off my chest. I really am sick and tired of how bad games are now, they just don't appeal to me anymore. I still play computer games, they rock, and retro games are still good, anything Dreamcast and back is good, and I've been clocking more hours on my 3DO than I have in over 5 years. It's not a good sign, trust me. I'm waiting for Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Project Needlemouse to see what they bring to the party, and if they're good, I might consider playing 7th-gen consoles again. Till then, my DC, GCN, Saturn, SNES, N64, 3DO, and all my other old consoles are getting more play time than ever. Now, what's the problem with new games? Well, the camera control has just gotten worse than ever instead of getting better, the gameplay is horrible, and companies only care about shooters and RPG's, I mean, where did the platformers and the other genres go? Anyway, I need to get back to a game of Star-Control II, The Ur-Quan Masters on my 3DO, and later, I'm going to play some SA1 and NFL 2K, Saints vs. Colts ;).

Dreamcast and Saturn games on PSN, XBLA, and VC?

Hey, people. Sorry for the delay in posting a new post, I've had some stuff going on, but I'm back.
Hey, have you heard the rumors about SEGA putting Dreamcast and Saturn games on PSN, XBLA, and Virtual Console? I for one thing hope this is true, and for the people who say the games will be too big, let me tell you, I saw a file compressed to almost 10% of the original file, so with the compression tech of today, and the tactics people who pirate games use, like downgrading sound and getting rid of certain memory-intensive cut-scenes, we could fit a DC game or a Saturn game into a reasonable size. So, let's hope SEGA does put all our favorite games on the aforementioned download systems. Then, just maybe, we'll see a new console from SEGA, with the money that'll bring in. Anyway, See Ya, and remember, The Dream Lives On, Dreamcast RULES!!!
